Do you think i'll need surgery?

I just received MRI results yesterday on my cervical spine. My Doctor told me that i have 2 herniated discs C4 and C5 and 4 Bulging discs C2,3.6.and 7. My Doc set up an appointment with a neurologist. This injury stems from a accident at my old job in 2001. At that time i only had seen ortho doctors and they told me i had degenerative disc disease. At that time 2001-2005 only 4 discs were involved with no herniation. I went to about 4 yrs on and off of physical therapy and excersise. now i'm just worried because it's 6 discs instead of 4 and 2 of them are herniated and i didn't even do anything to make it worse. It just got worse on it's own. Thanks to anyone that can give me a little insight.
