Can you compress itunes video downloads?

Hey i downloaded like 18 episodes of dora the explorer from i tunes and the file are unnessecarily large for an animated program, I know they could be like 80mb a piece but they are about 250-300 mbs each and i wanted to compress them, usually i compress my video with jodix free converter, but these are protected and it wont read them can anyone help??
