GH: Seriously, is Kiefer out of his mind?

I know he knows who Kristina's father is and who Jason is, so why on earth would he even consider abusing Kristina? Not to mention her mother is the district attorney!! Wow, the soaps really dumb people up don't they? And waht is up with Kristina? Why is she covering for that @ss?
