I stole stuff, will God forgive me?

After my parents got a divorce we didnt have a lot of money & so I felt the need to be like the other girls at school & my cousins so I stole stuff last year. Now realize it was so wrong & I feel guilty. I'm no longer friends with these girls & I would like to give the clothes back to them but they would make other girls hate me if I gave them clothes that I stole back. Im just now starting to get a better reputation& i dont want it recked. Should I donate the clothes to the poor or sell the clothes & donate the money to charity? Lastly, will the Lord forgive me? I am deeply sorry & I am planning on admitting it at confession . Any answers? Thank you
